Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2 is Here!

That’s right folks, the latest trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI is here at last, and my goodness, is it looking good! Firstly, the graphics, they’re pretty breathtaking and this is our best look at the city yet. Character models, animation, cars, planes, water, and so much more are all looking set to be a truly next-generation experience; something surprisingly lacking for this generation of consoles.

If anything, I can’t see this running above 30fps on consoles, just no way, not in hell. At least, not without significant reductions in fidelity to provide some form of performance mode, but even then, I have my doubts. I’d even argue that the trailer footage frame rate doesn’t look particularly strong at times either.

It also gives us a bit more of a glimpse into the story we can expect, with the male/female lovers, and their no doubt soon-to-escalate wave of crime. It’s just a shame that the game has been delayed. However, with so many other whopping AAA titles on the 2025 bingo card, perhaps the wait isn’t such a bad thing.

Hopefully, the game doesn’t get delayed again, but if it does, I’ll be playing Borderlands 4, Doom: The Dark Ages, Elden Ring: Nightreign, Death Stranding 2, Metal Gear Solid Delta, and that’s before we touch on what the Switch 2 has to offer.

…and well, I may want to wait for the PC release of GTA VI anyway, and since the trailer says PS5 and Xbox, we have a long time to wait, unfortunately.
