GTA 5Despite the game being nearly 5 years old for consoles, and 3 for PC, popularity for GTA 5 has not waned much. If anything, it has survived a lot better than it’s predecessor not just in relevancy but how good it looks. Thinking about it, Grand Theft Auto 5 could probably still pass the mark if released today.
One major stumbling block though, at least when it comes to the online version, is money. You need money to buy things. Well, Rockstar is offering players who log in the opportunity to get $250,000 as a ‘tax rebate’.

I must confess, I have long abandoned GTA 5. Don’t get me wrong, I think its a super game, but I completed the single player and the online mode is a little bit too much ‘pay-to-win’ for my liking. That being said, it still has a massively loyal community.
In a report via PCGamesN then, I wonder whether this rebate is more to do with trying to get players like myself to re-install and give it another go. It sure is tempting.

In addition to the $250,000, Rockstar is also giving players 10% cashback on any in-game purchases. Therefore, you might find your quarter million might stretch even further than you thought.
To qualify for the money, all you need to do is log in to the online game anytime between now and February 26th. That’s it. Following the 26th of February, players will receive their cash within a week or so.
Will it make me return to GTA 5?
It is tempting, but I’m still erring towards no for several reasons. In a similar matter to World of Warcraft, I don’t need a game I play that little squatting up so much of my hard disk space. Secondly, my experiences online have been mixed, to say the least. If I haven’t got a prepubescent screeching down their microphone, I have someone continually killing me.
This might tempt some to go back to GTA 5 and I might go back to see if things have improved. The cynic in me, however, doubts that they have.

I love playing GTA 5 but the things on there are so expensive, so I feel like just stop going on the online bit. Even the main bit get on my nerves things disappear u make a cool car and turn to do something and find it’s gone….
Gta 5 online has always been for freinds online to play together nothing has ever been made for a player who just has a go on his own its also all about money i would say any player who takes a break from the game never goes back been there got the t shirt
I think.they should.offer more.because.the vehicles.are to exspensive and its hard to.do.missions if you have other players stopping you.so you can’t make money I think.they havent thought about online play.through I don’t play.it as much as it’s hard.to.make.money especially with all.the.hackers and Modders but they.don’t do.anythen.about.the hackers or Modders Wich is wrong and I never get the.money when.I log in with is a pain

You’ll find that the 10 year old squeakers have gone! But the paywalls and pay to win is ridiculous! If you think £$250,000 will get you anything worth having then forget it. I spent 60 million (glitches car sales) on the last dlc Doomsday heist, and still have only about 30% of what I’d really need. Online passive mode has been much improved, when you got into a vehicle it used to remove passive mode, now you can stay in passive as long as you are not doing any jobs

GTA 5 online is as hard or as easy as you make It,I have been online with it since it’s launch,and at rank 876 I am proud not to have modded or cheated once,here are a few tips when you are online, …if you are fed up with being annihilated by someone 400 ranks above you in a public session for instance, switch to invite only mode, that way you can potter about with your mates and get the feel of Los Santos without someone chasing after you in a tank or a avenger chopper, you can earn a great deal of money very quickly if you get involved with the right crowd,and once you have purchased GTA5, and work at it and play sensibly, it’s completely free
stuff is toooo high on gta 5 online if they would make stuff more affordable it would the best game EVER but if they’re doing a tax rebate why not do a lottery thing on there for us poor players just like in the real world cause everybody is not cut out to be a CRIMINAL
