Intel Arc Battlemage 140V and 130V Get 10% Performance Boost with New Drivers

Intel has released a new power management update that improves the gaming performance of systems with Intel Core Ultra 200V Lunar Lake processors and Intel Arc 140V and 130V integrated GPUs. This update is part of Intel’s ongoing platform optimizations and comes through a new graphics driver.
Performance Gains from the Update
The performance improvements are especially noticeable when the system is running at a common power consumption level of 17W or lower. Intel tested the update on nine games using the MSI Claw 8 AI+ system set to a 17W manual profile. The tests showed that gamers can expect a higher GPU clock speed and improved frame rates.
Intel compared the new “6734” driver with the previous “6732” driver and found performance gains in several popular games (thanks Wccftech):
- Black Myth Wukong: +13.8%
- God of War Ragnarok: +6.9%
- Hogwarts Legacy: +6.8%
- Cyberpunk 2077: +6.1%
- Marvel’s Spider-Man: +6.9%
- PayDay 3: +12.6%
- DOTA 2: +16.0%
- Counter-Strike 2: +8.0%
- Fortnite: +17.9%
These driver updates will not only be available for MSI Claw 8 AI+ and Claw 7 AI+ laptops but will also be launched on all platforms with Intel Arc 140V and 130V integrated GPUs. You can download the new drivers directly from the Intel website.
The Intel Lunar Lake Core Ultra 200V CPUs were released last year and received positive reviews for their efficiency and excellent graphics performance. The graphics performance, in particular, has been a highlight, as it was the first time Intel used the Xe2 GPU architecture. This architecture is now being used in Intel’s dedicated Arc Battlemage graphics cards, which have also shown great value for money.
