Nintendo Switch 2 Game Sizes Revealed: Cyberpunk 2077, Fortnite, Mario Kart, and More

As we get closer to the release of Nintendo Switch 2, new details about the console and its launch lineup are being revealed. One of the latest discoveries comes from the eShop, where the sizes of several third-party games, including Cyberpunk 2077, Fortnite, and Split Fiction, as well as upgrade packs for Nintendo Switch 2 Edition games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, have been shared.

Among the games, Split Fiction has the largest size at 71 GB, making it the heaviest title confirmed so far for the Nintendo Switch 2. It’s followed by Hitman at 61 GB, Cyberpunk 2077 at 56.8 GB, and Fortnite at 29.5 GB.

Nintendo Switch 2 Game Sizes Confirmed So Far

Mario Kart World

The upgrade packs for Nintendo games are, as expected, smaller in size. For example, the upgrade for Breath of the Wild takes up almost 10 GB, while the Tears of the Kingdom upgrade is only 3.6 GB. Keep in mind, these sizes are in addition to the base game sizes.

  • Split Fiction – 71 GB
  • Hitman: World of Assassination Signature Edition – 61 GB
  • Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition – 56.8 GB
  • Street Fighter 6 – 48.8 GB
  • Fortnite – 29.5 GB
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack – 9.7 GB
  • Super Mario Party Jamboree Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV Upgrade Pack – 7.7 GB
  • The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack – 3.6 GB
  • Kirby and the Forgotten Land Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World Upgrade Pack – 5.7 GB
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour – 2 GB
  • Mario Kart World – 23.4 GB
  • Donkey Kong Bananza – 10 GB
  • Super Mario Party Jamboree – 7.7 GB
  • Kirby and the Forgotten Land – 5.7 GB
  • GameCube Classics – approximately 3.5 GB

Nintendo Switch 2 will be available in stores starting from June 5. The console will cost $449.99, or you can get a limited-time bundle with Mario Kart World for $499.99.
