Noctua and ASUS Unveil Quad-Slot RTX 5080 Graphics Card
ASUS and Noctua have teamed up once again to create a unique graphics card. This collaboration has previously resulted in special edition graphics cards combining ASUS’s custom PCB and design with Noctua’s advanced cooling systems and fans.
The New RTX 5080 Features a Large Cooling System
This time, the partnership has led to the launch of a custom NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080. It comes equipped with a huge cooling system that includes three Noctua fans, known for their signature color scheme. The fans used are NF-A12x25 G2 models, which have a 120mm diameter. These are an updated version of the fans found in other ASUS graphics cards from the previous generation.
Impressive Size and Design
The cooling system on this new card is so large that it takes up four PCIe slots. While it’s not the thickest card on the market, its size is certainly eye-catching. To ensure the card’s stability, it comes with a robust backplate at the rear, featuring reinforced areas and added protection. There is also an integrated support for extra durability.
At this point, the exact technical specifications and pricing details are not yet available. However, it’s expected that this card will offer better performance and come at a higher price than standard models.
