NVIDIA Releases Another Hotfix Driver to Continue Fixing RTX 50 Bugs
NVIDIA has released yet another hotfix in just a few weeks to address the issues introduced with the driver 576.02 for its GPUs. These issues include graphical bugs and crashes that were particularly noticeable with the RTX 50 series graphics cards.
The new version of the driver is 576.26 and includes fixes from the previous hotfix, 576.15, which aimed to correct a range of problems for the GPUs.
Driver Fixes in Version 576.26
The new driver version specifically resolves flickering issues with Forza Horizon 5, track corruption in Forza Motorsport, and crashes that occurred in Black Myth: Wukong when the main character transforms. It also fixes several problems in Red Dead Redemption 2, Horizon Forbidden West, Dead Island 2, and the Resident Evil 4 remake.
Additionally, the 576.26 drivers fix a specific bug for LG monitors when using a DisplayPort 2.1 connection, which caused a black screen, as well as other problems related to DisplayPort 2.1 and monitor compatibility. You can find the drivers and full notes here.
This marks the fifth hotfix for NVIDIA’s GPUs in the last two months. This unusually high number of updates suggests that there may be some instability in the drivers, which NVIDIA has always considered one of the strengths of its GeForce lineup.
